The Care Committee is a network of dedicated, caring, trained individuals, divided into teams, who lovingly serve their neighbor in times of need. The reasons for that need are widely varied. Since its establishment, the Care Committee has continually evaluated the focus of its mission. We have patterned our committee after the program called “Developing the Caring Community” and are putting our efforts toward that end.

Most of our outreach is done through many caring shepherds.

Additionally, our continued utilization of the CARE NOTES, which are available to any and all who find themselves in our church facility, provide information and inspiration for those in need. These pamphlets, normally located in the narthex and in the wall display near the entryway door from the parking lot, are helpful for people who might not feel comfortable talking about difficult subjects, or who just do not know who to ask.

The Care Committee “leads with its heart”, and keeps its eyes focused on the loving, caring example of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We are always ready with welcoming arms, open ears, warm conversation, a hot meal, and heartfelt prayer.

We on the Care Committee are ready and willing to be shepherds, caring for and loving the Lord’s sheep. Please contact the Church office or one of the coordinators above if you or someone you know is in need.
